"Hi there! My name is Kelsey Chapman, I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW). I have been in the mental health field since 2018. My experience has been in community mental health centers, inpatient substance use treatment, and private practice. I specialize in providing therapy to couples and families, focusing on understanding the dynamics within relationships by addressing conflict, communication difficulties, and systemic barriers. I also work with individuals who have experienced trauma and are living with anxiety and depression. I am trained in approaches using Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, The Gottman Method to Couples Therapy, and Family Systems Theory.
My goal is to create a safe and empathetic environment free from judgment. I use a person-centered approach in treatment planning to encourage self-determination and meet you exactly where you are at. Amidst all of life’s demands, it’s easy to neglect your own needs. I want to remind you that prioritizing yourself is essential for your well-being. I’m here to help you enhance your relationship with yourself and with others. Together, we can work towards positive improvements in your life."
