About Me

“Hello, my name is Jon Ford, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA). Since 2020, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting individuals through some of life’s most challenging moments. I’ve worked in diverse settings, including community mental health centers, substance use treatment programs, and pediatric therapy, giving me a well-rounded understanding of how mental health impacts people and families at every stage of life.


I have a special passion for working with clients who are navigating depression, trauma, or significant life stressors. Many individuals carry heavy burdens in silence, my role is to help you unpack that weight, understand where it comes from, and learn healthy ways to process and move forward.


My approach draws from evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. I focus on helping you identify the root causes of distress, shift unhelpful thinking patterns, and build coping skills that work in real life, whether that’s managing work stress, relationship challenges, or past experiences that still affect you today.


Above all, I strive to offer unconditional positive regard and a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be heard, understood, and supported. My goal is to equip you with practical tools so you can show up as the healthiest version of yourself and handle whatever life throws your way, with resilience, self-awareness, and confidence.

Initial consultation

$0

15 minute complimentary virtual call to discuss presenting concern, after which you will be placed with ideal therapist.

Intake

$150

(60 Minute Session) This is an in-depth initial assessment conducted by a licensed mental health therapist to better understand your emotional, psychological, and behavioral health. It includes exploring your current concerns, personal history, and symptoms to help determine an accurate diagnosis and create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs. This evaluation is the first step in beginning your healing journey.

Individual therapy

$120

(60 Minute Session) One-on-one therapy provides a confidential and supportive space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
